LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course sessions provide an overview of contemporary perspectives on organization theory for doctoral students interested in management and organizations. During the course, the students will learn the basics of specific theories and approaches and how to be able to use them in theory-building.

Content

    The course consists of a series of seminar sessions focusing on specific theories and approaches. The specific contents are outlined in a separate document. The course is intended for Management and organization doctoral students during their first semester. Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    Active and informed participation in all sessions, short papers presented in class, group presentations in class, a term paper on the theoretical foundations of one's research project provide foundations for the assessment.
