Students are able to apply these fundamental theories to practical problems related to energy technology.

Thermodynamic state functions

Theory of chemical equilibrium

Thermodynamics of humid air

Properties of real gases and the law of corresponding states

Application of theories to energy technology (e.g. electrochemical cells and fuel cells) 

Assessment Methods and Criteria (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020): 

Execution: Lectures + Calculation Exercises + Computer Exercise with HSC software

Assessment methods and criteria: Exam + Calculation exercises + Computer exercise. The only requirement to pass the course is to get 9/24 points in the exam. You can get extra ponts by returning calculation and computer exercises. These points are taken into account since you have passed the exam.
