Details on the course content (applies in this implementation): 

In part I of the course (lectures 1-6), we introduce basic methods to describe the dynamics of open quantum systems and learn how to apply them to problems related to quantum technologies. Part II of the course (lectures 7-12) is concerned with quantum thermodynamics, in particular the modelling and optimisation of thermal devices operating in the quantum realm.
