After the course the student:
- Understands the typical features of knowledge work and knowledge-intensive organizations
- Knows how organizational practices and technological tools influence processing and management of knowledge (e.g. knowledge sharing, utilization, and creation)
- Can evaluate and explain how managerial and leadership behaviour affect the performance of knowledge-intensive organizations

Content (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020): 

The recent growth in knowledge work has had an immense impact on the overall character of work and how it is organized. This has also influenced on how organizations can create value and transform their capabilities into services and products. The course introduces models, frameworks and methods that help at understanding how knowledge-intensive organizations can manage their intangible assets (i.e. knowledge and competences).

Lectures, assignments, readings.

Lectures 16-22 hours, individual learning and assignments 50-70 hours, group learning and assignments 50-70 hours.
