Aalto Fellows is a comprehensive entrepreneurship education regarding the key principles of leadership, innovation, selling, finance, and creativity. The program will enable the Fellows to develop their core skill sets of an entrepreneur. Each Fellow will develop their skills by leveraging the knowledge and perspectives from professors, company executives, venture capitalists, and industry experts. Students will learn to create a program useful for increasing entrepreneurship skills in a short time (excursion planning, organization and execution). Peer reviewing teaches students evaluation. You will also learn how to apply the contents learned in the first part of AF.
Content (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020):
This course is the Part B of Aalto Fellows, a six-month study and work program designed to develop a theoretical and practical understanding of the techniques for growing technology companies. This Part B of the program is a reflective course, where candidates report, analyze and reflect the learnings from their study trip to a leading global startup hub and their entrepreneurial activities on behalf of their commissioning partner companies. Also, candidates report, analyze and reflect on their learnings over the entire six-month-long Program, especially on issues related to startup leadership, self-development, domain-specific legal and finance, growth stories, storytelling, problem-solving and acceleration in practice.
Assessment Methods and Criteria (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020):
20%: Workshop essay, 50%: project preparation, organization and execution, 30% project reflection
