CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content
  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    The Games Now! lecture series will present a monthly lecture or panel discussion addressing the hot topics of the game industry. Finnish and international speakers alike will bring the latest information about the impacting factors within the current game industry ecosystem. The point of view will be multidisciplinary and holistic, and aims to bring together students and industry professionals from all game related fields. The contents of the lectures are not oversimplified for the students - instead, the students are encouraged to prepare themselves for the topics prior to the lectures so that they would learn how to utilize and navigate with similar professional content. Yet, the lecture series is directed to everyone independent from their previous knowledge on the topics.

Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    To pass the course students should be present on the lectures, do the required exercises and attend the game jam or write an essay.
