Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    Exams; group assignments.

  • Applies in this implementation:

    1. Seminar sessions: 4 sessions.
    - An article presentation by the group (questioned by opponent group)
    Presentation slide deck : 10 points (40)
    Group seminar discussion: 5 points (20)

    2. Case sessions: 4 sessions
    Memo (by individual student): 10 points each (40)
    Case seminar discussion: Different case questions, discussed in groups (break out rooms in zoom), then every group is asked to present their analysis: 5 points (20)

    3. Guest sessions: 3 sessions
    Memo (by individual student): 10 points each (30)

    150 points in total will be scaled back to 100. In case the above total points do not add up to 150 points, due to unforeseen schedule changes, then it
    will be transformed so that the total achievable maximum point is 100 points.
    For example, if the total maximum point is 110 and you received 90, then the final
    course points you received will be computed as 90/110*100=81.81 points (which
    corresponds to a final grade of “4”). For another example, if the total maximum
    point is 90 and you received 70, then the final course points you received will
    be computed as 70/90*100=77.77 points (which corresponds to a final grade of
    “3”).

    The final course points you
    received corresponds to the following final grade:

    • 0-49
      points = 0
    • 50-59
      points = 1
    • 60-69
      points = 2
    • 70-79
      points = 3
    • 80-89
      points = 4
    • 90-100
      points = 5
