CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content
  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    This course gives an introduction to the urban water systems and services. Physical elements, functions and information technologies of urban water infrastructure and their life-cycle management (planning, construction, operation, maintenance, asset management) are presented. Organizational and financial management as well as performance of the water services are discussed. Risk management and contingency planning of the services are also covered.

    Assessment of the course is based on the individual homework assignments and the project work done in groups. Relative weights of the different components are informed in the beginning of the course.
