CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    This course follows NBE-E4000 (Principles of biomedical imaging) and focuses on the applications of imaging methods used in clinical medicine and neuroscience, including digital radiology, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound imaging, positron emission tomography, functional magnetic resonance imaging, near-infrared spectroscopic imaging, electro- and magnetoencephalography, and navigated transcranial magnetic stimulation. The basic principles of methods not covered by NBE-E4000 are given. Multimodal imaging is also discussed.

    Many of the lectures are given by guest lecturers that are experts in the application of each imaging method.
