LEARNING OUTCOMES

After the course the student
1. Can acquire the basic knowledge of safety and sustainability in chemical process industry
2. Can identify the hazard of chemicals, chemical processes and apply ISD principles which offers a sustainable process design
3. Can develop and understand the safety management, culture & sustainability in the chemical plant.
4. Can identify the risk of damages and accidents in chemical process industry and method of prevention
5. Can apply the risk, hazard and safety analysis methods
6. Can identify fires and explosions and design the preventions
7. Can use the methods and techniques to control the hazards in chemical process
8. Can apply the principles of environmental risk assessment processes and assess sustainability
