LEARNING OUTCOMES

The student will learn what is required to run a project for a
non-profit organization. During the project, the student will get
to apply knowledge and skills acquired during his/her studies in
a real situation. The student will also learn to understand the
client’s challenge and formulate it into a suitable project with
the help of the academic supervisor. If the project is undertaken
in a group, the student will also learn team working skills. The student will also be acquainted with special features of nonprofit
organizations. After the course, the student will be able to
make project plans, conduct similar projects and know how to
report the outcomes for the client.

Further Information

    The student enrolls for the course after both the client and the
    academic supervisor have accepted the project plan.

    The course can be undertaken if a suitable academic supervisor
    is found and both the academic supervisor and the client agree
    on how the project should be conducted. The supervisor decides
    if the topic and the proposed mode of execution of the project
    will be sufficient for the course. If needed, the responsible
    teacher makes the decision.
