LEARNING OUTCOMES

At course completion, you will be able:

- to communicate using familiar phrases in simple situations in and outside of work.

- to, e.g. introduce yourself and answer simple questions in French.

- to write short messages using familiar phraseology and grammatical constructions.

- to understand the gist of relatively easy texts with the help of language tools.

- to recognise and understand some of the cultural features and customs typical of the French-speaking world.

    Understanding the basic structures and vocabulary needed in everyday life and work and practising related simple communicative situations, and getting to know some customs of the French-speaking world. The course will primarily use English as a support language, Finnish is used in small amounts as a secondary supporting language.
