Welcome to the course Decision Making and Choice Behavior!
The focus of the course is learning about decision making, both from theoretical and practical perspectives. You will learn how to analyze decision making problems, apply theories from the behavioral decision making literature, and find out what economists and psychologists can tell us about decision makers' behavior.
The course includes lectures twice a week, and for every lecture (besides the first) you are expected to read one article or short book chapter. Lectures start with short quizzes, which are a big part of the ultimate grade - so be prepared! Otherwise, we don't expect any background in the topic, so no matter if you're an economist, engineer or art student, you are more than welcome to participate!
For grading and the requirements of completing the course, see section "Completing the course & grading". For lecture slides (uploaded after each lecture), required readings and additional material, see section "For Aalto users".
