BioEM course cancelled
Because shortage of personnel resources and reassignment of my teaching duties, the BioEM course will not be implemented in 2016.
I have been assigned to assemble & develop the course NBE-E4000 Principles of Biomedical Imaging, and I cannot properly organize two challenging courses during the same semester. We have to prioritize NBE-E4000 because it is a mandatory course and has over 20 enrollments, while BioEM is an elective course that last week had only 5 enrollments.
I don't know yet, when the BioEM will take place --- I will need to take a look at schedules of my other courses, other courses of BME and physics majors, and so on. If you are interested in taking the BioEM course (and you have the necessary prerequisite knowledge/skills), please send me an email, and I'll keep you posted.
Those students who planned to take BioEM but have not taken NBE-E4000 are warmly welcome to participate that course (it is going to be cool!). I will cover electromagnetic source imaging in NBE-4000, and it will also become a prerequisite for the BioEM course.
Sorry for the late notice & wishing you all great autumn semester,
