While all three common courses (WAT-E1010, WAT-E1020, WAT-E1030) have their separate learning outcomes and contents, they are also very strongly connected and thus complementary. All three courses are tied together by same weekly themes and related weekly assignments and project work, as shown in the Weekly Structure on the main page.
The figure below visualises the basic idea for the relationship between the three common courses.
The orange sessions with WAT-E1010 are related to the broader societal context of our field, while the green sessions of WAT-E1020 introduce then the key contents and the blue sessions of WAT-E1030 the main methods of our field. The themes listed under the the three courses correspond with the weekly themes of each course (see Weekly Structure for more).
