PART 3
The goal of PART 3 is to train you in systematic searching of information in practice. An extensive literature search e.g. a paper at a seminar requires the use of several information media of different types. More and more important technological information sources are on the Web, although complete presentations of themes often appear as books. Systematic searching of information implies an appropriate selection of information sources and systematic searching by means of suitable search terms.
After this part you should know the basic principles of systematic searching of information and you should have an idea of the contents of important information sources within your field. You are also able to cite publications (including electronic publications) and to create a list of sources. The goal is correct information in the correct place at the correct time. In your further studies and later in your working life these skills count.
