The special course on The Internet of Things: selected themes a master-level course worth 2, 3 or 5 ECTS credits and offered in English.
After successful completion of the course, you will be able to: define the scope and the distinctive features of the Internet of Things (IoT); identify and address technical challenges in real application scenarios; evaluate the suitability of different architectures and platforms for specific IoT services; develop a proof-of-concept IoT application.
Selected themes in the Internet of Things: enabling technologies, architectures and platforms, security, and services.
Assessment methods and criteria
CSE-C2400 Computer Networks or equivalent skills. Basic programming skills.
Enrollment and admission
The course accepts a limited number of students and admission is subject to approval by the responsible teacher. Priority will be given to students who enrolled in CS-E4180 and (or) have that course in their study plan.
