Dear course participant,
Below are some brief information regarding to course assignments and case.
Assignments are done individually or together with a fellow course participant.
Case is done in a group of 1-4 course participants.
Deadlines are at the beginning of each Friday class (at xx:15) (except the cases). See forthcoming course syllabus for more details about the deadlines. Unfortunately late submissions cannot be graded.
Submission only in paper format in class or to Markku Kuula's mailbox on Chydenia's 5th floor by the deadline.
Case descriptions are distributed through Mycourses-portal.
Reporting should be clear, concise and professional. I need to understand your calculus, reasoning, and your results. Formatting: Times New Roman, font size 12, row spacing 1, normal margins or narrower. Tables & figures, appendices etc. are valued.
Grading of assignments and case: Understanding the problems, finding elegant and focused solutions to solve them and neat reporting helps to get better grades. You may reflect to and with course contents and utilize related academic sources to increase the depth and breadth of your analysis. Prepare to answer questions considering your reports.
We have a zero-tolerance with plagiarism. Case reports will be run through plagiarism detection. Cheating brings your whole team under threat of severe consequences, such as expulsion from the university.
Looking forward to the course, and wishing you all an excellent learning experience!
