Cases will be distributed to the students at the start of the course. Each group (max three students) will read the case before the visiting lecture by the case presenter. The case contains challenges that the students will solve in groups. All case reports have separate deadlines given during the presentation of a case. The case reports (written report max three pages + two ppt slides) should be submitted through the course website.
Case evaluation will be done on the basis of the written report, the slides, and a presentation. Each group will present one case in class. The written report and slides should concentrate on the suggestions of the group to the challenges.
Reflection paper (10% of grade): Case Kluuvin Apteekki. Deadline: 2.10.2016 at 23:55.
Prepare to class by reading the teaching case on Kluuvin Apteekki. During class (18.9.), participate to discussion and evaluate how the discussion improved your understanding of the case and the solving of the case. Based on this discussion, write a one-page reflection paper where you assess your reflections on the case.
Accenture exercise package (30% of grade): Accenture. Deadline: 18.10.2017 at 16:00
Exercises are based on three Accenture sessions. Exercises are to be done in groups of max 3 students.
Deliverable - max 10 page report consisting of:
1. Description of as-is situation with analysis for one process for company X
- Improvement areas
- Target groups, messages, tools & channels
Exam (40% of grade)
Exam questions are based on all course material (course discussions, slides, articles, book chapters, cases and exercises).
