The following 3 books are used as the course books:
- Edward Tufte. The visual display of quantitative information, 2nd edition. Graphics Press, 2001.
- Colin Ware. Information visualization: perception for design, 3rd edition. Morgan Kaufmann, 2012.
- Stephen Few. Now you see it: simple visualization techniques for quantitative analysis. Analytics Press, 2009.
The contents of the course are defined by the lectures. Notice that the lecture slides have been primarily designed to support presentation, not to act as stand-alone reading material.
