Individual learning diaryDue: 6 pm every Sunday from wk1 to wk6
The purpose of the weekly learning diary is to reflect on your learning process in light of the course lectures, readings, workshops, visits and other individual or group activities. This enables you to become better aware of what you have learned as well as what you need to learn. It helps you keep your eyes open and raise your awareness of your own subjective experiences related to the course topic.
What should be included in your learning diary?
- Your own takeaways and reflections on the week's insights and activities (lectures, workshops, readings, visits, etc.). Please include your expectations, questions, insights, problems.
- Their relations on what has been done and what is ongoing.
- There will be weekly themes/readings that should be reflected in your diary.
- You can also report practical solutions, text, mind maps, drawings, sketches, images, quotations etc.
Learning diaries present the teaching staff with your own account of your progress and learning throughout the course. This provides the teaching staff with an outcome that is used for your individual evaluation. Therefore, it is important to share your reflections on your learning, insights and reflections instead of merely reporting a summary of what happened during the week. In addition, learning diaries gives a possibility to address potential problems during the course on a weekly basis.

Upload your final presentation slides to 'Assignments' by 7 am, 14 Feb. The guideline for the final presentation will come soon.
2, Team project report (Due 6 pm, Sunday, 25.02)The final project report/booklet is presented to your client. Please describe your process, highlight your findings and insights, and describe the service concept in both visual and written form.
Format: English, Pdf (or you can send us a link if the Pdf exceeds 200MB, or the booklet includes videos and other media formats. )
3, Individual final learning portfolio (Due 6 pm, Sunday, 25.02)
At the end of the course, submit your learning portfolio, which includes your previous 6-week learning diaries and 3-4 page essay of your final reflection, learning and thoughts.

Evaluation of the course:

60% project work
In the evaluation we will look at the following criteria:
-the holistic understanding of the case and the big context;
-finding design opportunities through application of various means including the empathic understanding of users & partners;
-the strength of the concepts and argumentation of the insights;
-project communication (presentations/documentation)
10% individual contribution to the course activities and group work
The evaluation will focus on how the student participates in and contributes to the course activities and is influenced by peer to peer evaluation of the project work.
30 % individual learning diaries and Portfolio
The evaluation will focus on how the student is able to reflect and communicate the reflections during the learning process by referencing the literature, lectures and own practices.
