Welcome to the course!
Below you can find the preliminary timetable for the course with an overview of the subjects, and all the learning tasks and assignments included in the course.
NOTE: Follow the schedule indicated under the picture --> DO NOT follow the "Upcoming events" of MyCourses/Oodi on the right column of this page (the times and dates have not been updated from the last year). Note also, that we always start at 13.00 (on Wed) and at 9.00 (on Fri) SHARP, not quarter past.
The course applies student-centered and outcomes-based teaching and learning = the tasks and assignments are planned to address course intended learning outcomes, and the assessment is based on how well you perform in those, and how actively you attend the contact sessions. The contact sessions are not compulsory (except for 15.11. concept map tutoring and 13.12. the final seminar), but due to reflective and participatory teaching methods, attendance is highly recommended.
The course includes 4 minor tasks and 2 major tasks, which all need to be submitted to pass the course. Submission after due date decreases your grade. The evaluation criteria and grading of the course will be presented in the first contact session, and after that the information can be found from the session slides.
