  • Day 1 – Printed GIFs! Kinegram Workshop

    Monday 27 May, 9.15–17 with Cecilia Kugler


    It's possible to make funky animations by drawing a thing on a paper then cutting lines on a different paper and layering the two on top of each other.

    Participants could create 2-4 frame simple animated interactive postcards/posters.

    At the end of the workshop the final works could be combined into a zine.

    No previous experience needed!

    The point of the workshop is to make low cost kinegrams without a computer, but those who want to try doing the technique digitally too, can bring their laptop (photoshop needed)

    Learning outcomes: Fun!!! The results could be combined into a simple showreel or interactive zine.
