of the book Fundamentals of Photonics, B.E.A. Saleh and M.C. Teich, 2 ed. (John Wiley & Sons)
Every week of the course, each attendant studies individually
certain topics of the book, solves the related home exercises, and present the
solutions to some of the exercises in the classroom (4-5 solutions per student
in total). At the last session, the attendants pass the exam. The teachers give short lectures on each topic and help
the students to prepare the exercise presentations.
