    Readings and reading responses

    Deadline for reading responses is always on Wednesday at 9.15 am, before the start of the next lecture.

    Submit your response through MyCourses in pdf-format. Name the response as ”familyname_response_responsenumber”.

    Reading responses will be returned as powerpoint-type slides (converted to pdf). We believe that this makes it easiest to communicate the main points briefly and effectively.

    However, if you prefer writing an essay instead, that is also possible.

    The responses will be graded by giving 0, 2 or 4 points (0=fail, 2=accepted, 4=excellent quality).

    The grading is based on two criteria: 1) does the response demonstrate that the student has read the material and understood its main points, and 2) has the student manifested his/her own, critical thinking on subject? Presenting and summarizing one's own thoughts clearly and succinctly is required for getting excellent grade.
