Climate change – what should I know about it? How will climate change affect the society and our life in the future? Can we solve it? Who has the responsibility to act?

The course can be taken as full 5 ECTS-credit course or as smaller 2 ECTS-credit course. The smaller 2 ECTS course can be done also fully remotely.
The course is open for all students of Aalto University. All students from candidate level to doctoral students are welcome to the course.
Work methods: Lectures (lecturer + 3 high-level guest lecturers), group work in multidisciplinary teams, independent study and learning diary. Evaluation is based on group project works (2 projects), learning diary and returned MOOC multiple choice certificate.
Course language: Lectures in English. Learning diary either in Finnish or English, according to student's own choice.
