  • Course Server

    In previous years, we have provided a separate server for students to use. However, most students have used their own server. Thus during the last two years, we havent provided a server. Instaed, we recommend students to either use their own servers or some web hosting service.

    For example, popular Heroku service has a Free plan. Another alternative is Amazon Web Services (AWS), which has a Free Tier for testing purposes. We can also pay the expenses of a full AWS account if necessary. If you need to use real AWS account, please contact the teacher of the course.

    This arrangement has worked rather well. Therefore, we ask all student groups to set up their servers either on their own machine or some suitable hosting service (e.g., Heroku or AWS).
