Course practicalities (Updated on 17 March 2020)
Because of the current coronavirus situation there shall be no more lectures in the course. The rest of the course is based on individual learning.
I had planned the course so that it would help you as much as possible when you write your Master's thesis. The changes that are made now are based on the same idea: we do things that help you with your future Master's thesis.
Here are the changes that been made to the course:
• Learning exercises 3-5 were changed so that they are not anymore based on the lectures. Other learning exercises (1-2 and 6-10) have stayed the same.
• There isn't an exam in the course. Instead of taking an exam you write a research plan for master's thesis as instructed in the MyCourses page.
Thus, now the course has two parts:
1. Learning exercises. They are graded on a fail/pass scale. If you do not pass them you just receive an e-mail telling you what more you have to do.
2. Research plan for Master's thesis. This is graded on a scale 0-5 and your grade of the whole course depends on that.
All instructions and material is now in the MyCourses page.
