Welcome to the ARTS-L0105 - Practices of Presenting Research -course! This is a short, 1 ECT crash course, to study and to practice some essential aspects of how to present your research. It is an introduction that will help you to get started.
We will meet six times, every Tuesday in a zoom video room. You will find the link to the zoom session from the announcement sent to the course Forum. From here you will find the program.

- Assignment 1: Search three (total 3)(a) conferences and/or (b) journals you would like to present your research or (c) galleries, museums of festivals to present your artistic components.

- What is an argument? How do you make one?
- Assignment 2: After watching the videos on argumentation (in Materials), be prepared to discuss the following:
- Who is the audience for your paper?
- What is the purpose of the paper? What do you hope to achieve?
- What are the parts of the paper? Does it have a clear structure?
- What is your argument about? What is your main claim? Write it out. State your claim and how you intend to support it. Be brief (5 min max).
