Welcome to Worldbuilding course!
Some basic information:

Scheduled meetings with the whole group will not have individual links here in MyCourses.
We will use the above permalink for the duration of the course!
Daily schedule with guest lecturers: we'll start the day on 9:00 but the guest lectures start latest 9:30. This is to ensure all possible technical difficulties are solved before the actual lecture starts. Lecture sessions will finish latest at 12:00. We'll have breaks during the sessions. Every lecture day will include a small daily task and an afternoon session where task completion is reviewed. The starting time for these depends on the duration of morning session, but we'll aim for starting the afternoon sessions between 14:00 and 14:30. The day ends latest 17:00.

Speaking from experience, you'll get most out of this course if you don't have anything else going on at the same time. So I sincerely hope you can reserve your time at least between 9:00 and 17:00 each course day completely for Worldbuilding course. The relative fuzziness of daily schedules helps a bit with this in my opinion.
There are still two days (8.5. and 14.5.) in the schedule without a guest lecture. I'm still working on finding a guest for those days, but if that doesn't work out we'll have some other activity or an additional task. In normal circumstances, the course curriculum has included also excursions. Let's see if we can emulate something like that with remote contact?
There will also be a larger course project task later on. The checkpoint dates are reserved for reviewing and discussing your progress on that.
Small preliminary task is now posted in MyCourses and I will also send you an e-mail later today. We will review the preliminary task as part of everyone's introductions. It's the first thing on the course!
