    Every year we search for potential candidates to fill the position of project manager for each team.
    The project managers will get 2 extra credits and enjoy the best learning experience.

    The manager’s role may be challenging in various ways:

    • “Someone” must keep the research, planning, execution & and polishing phases under control
    • Managing & leading the team through issues like
      • Part-time effort
      • Conflicting interests, other studies, hobbies, work, dating, life…
      • Communication
      • Unavailable skills and motivation
      • Uneven workload
      • Individual responsibility

    As it will be after PdP, in any job or organization.

    But there is also something special for you:

    • Extensive training on project management
    • Project managers will receive two extra credits adding up to 12 credits in total with the possibility to receive 15 credits for extra assignments.

    If you are studying product development, considering the role of a Project Manager (PM) is a natural option. If you’ve already studied project management, why not try out how the science works in practice? if you have not, no worries, just have a positive attitude and challenge yourself to learn!
    We strongly encourage anyone to apply for the PM position, regardless of gender and study background. In the history of PdP we’ve had awesome managers from Design, Business and Technology fields.


    A4 PROFILE SUBMISSION - 13th September

    If you are interested in becoming a Project Manager (PM) you must     send an A4 profile page by Friday, 13th Sep 17:00. In the A4 page, you must have relevant information about yourself, your background studies, your interests and what projects (from the briefs) you want to work on. 

    You can use the A4 pdf example as reference.

    PMs EVALUATION DAY - 16th September

    Once you have signed up to be a project manager (PM) candidate and have sent your A4 profile, you'll have to attend the PMs evaluation day on the 16th of September, at 15:30. During this session, we will be talking about the personality traits of a successful PM. Then you will have to introduce yourself followed by a couple of questions and discussions.

    After the Evaluation day, we will upload the profiles of the selected PMs onto MyCourses so the other students (and potential team members) can check who the candidates are before the team forming on the 18th of September.
