Exercises
There are five exercises classes and five sets of homework problems. Each problem set contains 6 problems each worth 6 points. The first two problems of each problem set are introduced by the teaching assistant and discussed in some detail during the exercise class. Hints and background information to the other problems will be given during the class. Attendance in the exercise classes is not mandatory.
Homework solutions will be returned in pdf format by email to the teaching assistant or on paper to Monday's lecture.
