Assignments
The course contains a compulsory practical assignment, which will be done in groups of 4 people. In this page, the written assignment material will be posted by the start of the course. Besides the general written material, the groups need a group-specific assignment sheet, calculation excel and an object. These will be handed out after the first lecture. If you cannot attend the first lecture, the group-specific material will also be available during the second lecture.
The assignment is completed in phases: Firstly, there are 4 small assignments, which are done during the course. These "partial deliveries” are optional, but highly recommended for three reasons: for accepted small assignments, you get points which are added to your final assignment points. You also get feedback from the course staff, which should help you to compile a better final report. Finally, the small assignments form the final report piece by piece, so you will be simultaneously building your final material.
The assignment materials are available in English, but the assignment can be completed in English or Finnish.
