Any students taking this course who have not taken Venture Ideation or a similar hands-on entrepreneurship course, and have no prior experience with entrepreneurship, should familiarise themselves at the beginning of the course and before mentoring sessions with the basics and terminology of the lean startup approach.
There is a wealth of materials online, but we can provide two specific suggestions here:
1. The Lean Approach video series:https://www.entrepreneurship.org/learning-paths/the-lean-approach
Fyi, this educational website by the Kauffman Foundation for entrepreneurship also has video series on a number of other topics, such as marketing and finances that could be useful to you should you need such information.
2. Steve Blank’s "How to build a startup" course on Udacity. You can enroll for free. https://www.udacity.com/course/how-to-build-a-startup--ep245
Either of these can provide a good starting point.
For help with the Miro platform please check relevant tutorials on youtube. It is an easy software to pick up, once you figure out the basics.
For podcast help, we will be posting a session with an expert here soon.
