    Welcome to 35E00750 Logistics Systems and Analytics. 

    This is a MSc's elective course, which will be arranged in Period ll starting on 26 (Monday) October 2020. This course consists of roughly 50% conceptual and 50% analytical contents. Examples of the conceptual contents are mainly related to the role of logistics in a supply chain such as distribution strategies, transportation systems, and to name a few. In terms of analytical contents, the course will discuss some linear programming problems such as transportation problems, and also facility location problems like capacitated plant location model. The course will also talk about some inventory models, for example, EOQ and its application to various situations. 

    There are two individual assignments and two group assignments. Besides these assignments, students are also required to answer a quiz that consists of 10 multiple-question for each session (10 sessions, without 2 guest lectures). 

    Due to the pandemic problem, the course will be arranged online. Likewise, the exam will also be arranged, tentatively, online. Each session lecture will be recorded and uploaded to MyCourses.
