Aalto Talent Expo Virtual Week questionnaire
- Study the Aalto Expo Virtual Week programme.
- Based on the offered programme, name two concrete objectives you want to achieve through participating the virtual Expo. The objectives must be something concrete you achieve, e.g. finding out job opportunities in a company you did not know before, asking advice for your career planning from an expert, updating your CV. Naming as an objective simply attendance to a single event (e.g. a webinar) is not acceptable!
- Keeping in mind the objectives you set, choose the events you will attend from the Aalto Talent Expo Virtual Week programme and register to these events.
- Attend the Expo from Monday 5th to Friday 9th October.
- Answer the questionnaire – be prepared to reflect on how well you could realise the objectives you set for yourself!
-
Virtual Expo: Compensatory essay Assignment
If you did not fill in the Aalto Talent Expo Virtual Week questionnaire, write an essay with the topic: "Employment plan: How will I get to know the companies in my field?". In your essay, explain how you will reach these objectives:
- Start looking for employment options and planning the career path from the very start of the studies
- Getting to know companies and discussing the summer job/internship opportunities with the company representatives
- Obtaining support for updating CV and Linkedin profile
- Figuring out how future working life will be
The essays should be 400-500 words in length. The deadline for the essays is Saturday, October 31st, 2020.
