Topic outline

    • Return here your background research presentation. It should include what you did and the insights and opportunities that you found in the research phase. Please include your project plan (outline) on the last page of the presentation and we can also comment on its feasibility.

You will be presenting these findings on 30.9. to teachers and (maybe clients) and we will discuss your findings.

Eeva gave you many good advice and directions for background research.
I suggest that you do both primary and secondary research and select the methods and materials that help you to understand 1) users (end-users and others) 2) what is currently in the market 3) product-specific solutions 4) materiality and technology related to your case 5) what are emerging trends or opportunities that you can connect to your case.

Try to share the workload in the teams cleverly so that you are both effective and agile and can find out the things that will help you later create great designs. And remember to make notes and sketch quick doodles in your notebook if come across something interesting. You will too easily forget things in a long course when you encounter a lot of new information. Good luck!

    • This is a general forum for course-related informal discussions and questions between students and between students and staff. You can also write feedback for other teams here.
