Great opportunity!
In connection with this 5-credit course, you can take part in an
English module LC-1117 that grants you the 3 ECTS (o+w), fulfilling the
university foreign language requirement in English.
LC-1117 content and schedule are directly
connected to those of ENY-C20005, and part of the assignments are shared. The
English module will be offered 13.01.-31.3.2021, on Wednesday
afternoons 12.30-15.45 in Zoom. Notice that the oral component of LC-1117
will partly extend over to period
4 (two sessions).
To join the English group, register for course LC-1117
Integrated Oral and Written Skills in Oodi, and choose group H09.

Grading
The means of learning on this course are lectures and
related reading, assignments, and exam. The exam is voluntary.
The
grades are based on the combined assignment and exam points. With just
the assignments it is possible to get a maximum grade of 3; with
assignments and the exam it is possible to get a maximum grade of 5.
Sufficient points must be gained from the exam in order for the exam
points to be included in the grade calculation.

ENG-A1001
If you are not familiar with GIS software, take a
look at the free training materials in "Assignment info" section
before you start to do the assignments.
