    Final paper and seminar

    Final paper

The project and the relevant results will be documented in a form of a conference paper. This should be a 6-8 page document (double column, 9 pt font). In case you are doing the project in a pair the page count is 8-10 pages. The conference papers will be peer-reviewed by other students. The important dates for the final paper are the following.

    27.11. Deadline for the draft
4.12. Deadline for the peer-review comments on the draft
    13.12. Deadline for final paper

The draft of the paper should include at least some preliminary results (e.g. on coarse grids).

The formating of the paper should follow a specified style. I have provided a template for this at the end of the page.

    The seminar

You will present your project in a final seminar to be held on the second exam period on 7th-11th of December. We will agree on the exact date of the seminar during the course. You will each have a 20 minute slot, out of which 10 to 15 minutes is reserved for the presentation and the rest for questions and comments.
