Welcome to test scaled ship models in ice
Here, you will get hands on experience on planning, conducting and analyzing model scale tests with a ship model in model ice. After the course you can scale ship and ice condition related parameters (e.g. speed, ice thickness) between scales, and have understanding on how the ice conditions are represented in model scale and how the full-scale performance of a ship can be estimated through model-scale testing. Besides model-scale testing, you will get experience on team working and peer-review.
