    Prelecture quiz

    In this course, it is important to read assigned pages of the lecture notes before each lecture. We will then discuss interactively the lecture material during the lectures. We will not have time to discuss all material in the lectures, but we will select some topics.

    There will be multiple choice lecture questions (here in MyCourses) to be answered before each lecture. Usually the DL for answering these questions is at the beginning of the lecture, but the DL for the first set of questions is at beginning of the 2nd lecture.

    You will get part of the points also for trying (i.e. when your answer is not correct). The purpose of the last question is to make that automatically so please answer truthfully to it. You get one third of the points for trying and 2/3 for correct answers.

    Please contact the lecturer in case you notice technical problems or other issues with the quiz. 

    The quiz for Thursday lectures will open at latest on Monday after the lecture. The quiz for Monday lectures will open at latest on Thursday.

    29.10. As discussed during the lecture, some of the questions were not very clear. Therefore, I will edit some questions now afterwards trying to make them better.

    Problems 2 & 6 have been modified. The grading is also changed so that everyone gets points for problem 6 (i.e. it will have weight 0 and the last question will have a higher weight.
