Each week a set of exercises is chosen, to be returned in the assignment box below by deadline next week.
On this course there are two kinds of exercises
1. Mandatory problems, worth 2 points each.
- Model solutions are published after deadline.
- Graded precisely with feedback.
- These cover the course content.
2. Bonus problems, worth ½, 1 or 2 points each.
- No model solutions.
- You can get up to 4 bonus points per week.
- You can return at most 4 bonus problems for grading.
- Graded as correct (full points) or incorrect (0 points).
Each week, 4 mandatory problems and several (>= 4) bonus problems are chosen. You can return for grading at most 4 mandatory problems + 4 bonus problems.
At the end of course, your grade for exercises is computed 5 * P / (6 * 4 * 2), where P is the total exercise points (mandatory + bonus). That is, your grade for exercises may exceed 5. Grade for exercises counts for 60% of course grade, and therefore you do not need to get 5 on the course exam to get the best final grade if you have solved bonus problems.
Returning Matlab exercises:
Please return all your Matlab code in a single .zip file with clearly named files. Ensure the content of your .zip can be run on school computers.
