During the course, you will write an essay about an institution in real estate economics. You choose the institution and the aspect yourself. In the essay, you should discuss about the chosen issue based on scientific literature. Please, check the evaluation matrix provided below.
Submit your final essay on Sunday, October 25, latest. Late submissions will not be graded and thus the course can not be completed. If you have an urgent reason, please inform it via email kirsikka.riekkinen@aalto.fi. In these cases, each starting 24 hours for late submissions will lower your grade by 2 points.
Since we are using TurnitIn for the submissions, there is a possibility for you to practice this tool. Please make sure that when you are submitting the final version for grading, you upload it under 'final submission'. You can practice and read the originality report by submitting the essay in 'version not for evaluation'. The teachers will not open these submissions or their originality reports.
You have a possibility for mid-term feedback. To get the feedback, please submit your draft (including the issues you want to get the feedback about) in the 'Mid-term feedback' submission box on Friday, October 2nd, latest. You will get the feedback in one week.
