    • Pre-assignment:
      Please prepare in advance a max 5 mins presentation on the following aspects: describe briefly the thesis topic, how your research is artistic research, what specific issues of writing are relevant for you work. Main points! The presentations in the afternoon of the first day Tue 27th (see the program). 

      Reading package#1:

      Riikka Ala-Hakula will have a lecture&workshop module during the Artistic Research Writing course.

      She has shared 3 texts of which you are supposed to read at least 2 prior to her session on the 28th of April (10AM-4PM).

                                      PERFORMING CITATIONS AND VISUALIZING REFERENCES

    • Write a type of an essay you want. You can use theory and lateral citations in text. You can make a hybrid essay. You can combine academic style with with a more poetic or personal one. This is an opportunity to experiment with academic writing in a way that suits your needs.
