• 4 Paragraph Building
  This session takes a flipped-classroom approach. So, please get started with the learning activities and assignments! Session 4 focuses on developing well-written paragraphs. What criteria are the measure of a strong paragraph in English?

  Upon completing the learning activities, you will be able to recognize and apply the criteria of a good paragraph, understand paragraph structure, recognize and construct effective topic sentences, and know how to sort out ideas and use them as building blocks for writing. This session contains five learning activities. In 4.1, you will contribute ideas to a padlet. The activities related to 4.2 (paragraph structure and topic sentences) include two short quizzes and one writing assignment. The fifth activity, 4.3, includes sorting ideas, outlining, and writing a paragraph.
