	This session takes a flipped-classroom approach. So, please get started with the learning activities and assignments! Session 3 examines how to construct introductions and abstracts. Although there are field-specific differences in how to write these, there are also some common elements that every writer should apply.
After completing the learning activities, you will be able to analyze the parts of an introduction and apply them to your own introduction. In addition, you will be able to identify the parts of an abstract and apply them when writing your own abstracts.
