This session doesn't take a flipped approach. Rather, the short lectures (not recorded) with activities take place during the workshop. So, plan to attend.
Session 5 covers the fourth criterion of a good paragraph, that is, logical progression. More specifically, you will learn about and apply three aspects of logical progression that will improve the cohesion and coherence of your paragraphs. For example, are you familiar with three common patterns of thematic progression? Or, how about parallel structure? You have most likely learned that you should use transitional words and phrases, but if the other two items that I mentioned are not working, then you can end up with false cohesion. In short, these three aspects of logical progression are critical to good writing. As you do the learning activities, you will recognize where you are with your own development of this aspect of writing in English.
