    Meeting ID: 635 1522 5434

We will only have the morning session today. We will go through the three modes of persuasion, learn more about effective presentations, analyse a few examples and continue the planning of the elevator pitches.

After lunch: work independently with the elevator pitch rehearsals! You will record your rehearsal videos this week, and give each other feedback in small groups. Access the forum in this section to post the link of your rehearsal video & give and receive feedback! You should only be able to view the posts of your own small rehearsal group - if you notice that the forum does not work in the intended way, then please notify the teacher a.s.a.p.

Course assignments: 5% for recording&posting the rehearsal video & 5% for giving peer feedback to two others. Deadlines: Fri Oct 15th 12:00 (noon) for recording & posting your rehearsal video & Mon Oct 18th 10:00 a.m. for giving feedback. You are free to agree on earlier deadlines with your own rehearsal group if you wish. In PanOpto, remember to adjust the access settings to "anyone in your organization with the link" or your peer reviewers will not be able to view your video!

Elevator pitches: Rehearsal teams (* Teams of three/four: decide your rotation scheme in advance!)

    1 Kerkko, Khanh, Hiep, Meri.

     2 Egor, Mael, Son.

     3 Hieu, Eero, Pranava.

     4 Behram, Mark, Nghi.

Extra activity just for inspiration. This is a longer speech (so not an elevator pitch), but it includes many elements of successful speeches. Watch it if you happen to have the time! (about 17 minutes)
