Topic outline


  • The idea of the week is to understand how passenger ship mission is created in multi-disciplinary fashion over various time spans and by numerous stake-holders. We go through the definition of what is a passenger ship, we review the history of passenger ships and the multidisciplinary challenges we face when designing these. Then we review the creativity in passenger ship context and examples of it in ship design. Part of this is the Delphi method for future prediction.
