Trade offs and complexity

    Trade offs and complexity

Although the win-win approach that we explored in the last section has been popular in supporting a business case for corporate responsibility and sustainability, it has also been challenged for being oversimplistic.

In this section we will raise questions about constraints of economic system and situations where some sort of trade off might be necessary and we will talk about challenges which the changing context for business creates for the win-win approach and the more classical liberal model of the role of business in society.
